A selection of our student leaders were an absolute credit to Penkridge Middle School today, as they attended the memorial service for Her Majesty at St Michaels and All Angels Church in Penkridge.
Pupils were spoken to this morning about the sad news. Hopefully the way in which Her Majesty conducted herself during her life will have an impact on us all in our futures.
Penkridge Middle School are saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. Our thoughts and condolences are sent to the Royal Family at this sad time.
Thank you once again to all of those who have supported PMS this year. Hope everyone enjoys a fantastic summer and we look forward to seeing all pupils back on Wednesday 7th September.
Please see picture for information about our Pre-Loved uniform. If you have anything that we could use then please send into the school as it can be re-sold or used by those that need it.
As a finale to this year, all students in KS2 will be gifted a Queen's Jubilee memorabilia book complete with bookmark. This has been organised through the National Literacy Trust and each one comes complete with a bookmark in it.
Good evening all,
Pupils are expected back in their uniforms tomorrow as per yesterdays message but blazers/jumpers will not be expected.
Thanks
Mr Grocutt
We were delighted to welcome parents to Sports Day today. Thank you to all the parents who attended and gave amazing support. Well done to all the pupils too. ๐ ๐ ๐
Please see Class Charts about pupils being able to wear PMS PE kit to school if they wish tomorrow due to the forecasted temperatures. They can still wear uniform if they wish but wonโt be required to wear their jumper/blazer.
To commemorate the Jubilee children will each be given the following coin as a memento of the day. This has been funded by the PTFA and should be a lovey keepsake for all. ๐ฌ๐ง๐ฌ๐ง๐ฌ๐ง
