Nothing’s more illustrative of the fantasy these people occupy than the “you should be deported” comments I get from Always Trump people. He was already president—he funded sanctuary cities, didn’t build the wall, didn’t end birthright citizenship, pushed amnesty, abandoned interior enforcement, and proposed more affirmative action for Hispanics in 2020 in a last-ditch effort to get votes, and that was after the Platinum Plan. The group he neglected most was the white working class (his main base). The biggest promises he broke were immigration-related.
