Ok I’ve never shared this publicly before.
This glorious human being on my left is Claire Jones. We were born on the same day & were like Sisters.
On this day 30 years ago she died in a car accident aged 21.
Claire died because she didn’t have a seatbelt. (Not her fault - not law back then in the rear.)
It was raining, the driver lost control and skidded - not massively but enough for Claire to leave through the back window.
PLEASE don’t let this happen to you. Wear your seatbelt and don’t tolerate others not wearing theirs in your car.
