I’ve never heard anyone speak so candidly about feeling like a failure. He knows the reasons why he’s emotionally stunted but is aware of his own participation in why his life is unremarkable. My goodness, I wish I heard more people speak this honestly. ❤️
I used to think a man shaving his beard while with you is the worst thing that could happen in a relationship then I discovered umfana oqala idreads 🕊️.
I turn 50 in a couple of months and not a single grey hair has committed to the assignment. In fact, the three brave grey strands that had started announcing themselves on the front left corner have now, on their own volition, reversed course and gone back to black. I won’t lie, I am slightly aggrieved.
There’s something about grey hair on a bloke. I view it as a marker of time, experience, of having lived, lost, learned, rebuilt. Grey carries a certain authority that I’ve seen a lot and I’ve done a lot.
I had fully imagined myself stepping into 50 with that aesthetic. Distinguished, composed, a little dangerous even 🤣🤣🤣
But here I am, still looking like I must explain myself at the door. Life can be so unfair.
Wouldn’t I look proper in grey?
fun fact: MTV were suffering from low ratings so they invited michael jackson to perform at the VMA’s in 1995. his performance was so good that it literally saved MTV from bankruptcy
