It’s a sure case of West-phobia.

West-phobia (n.)* — an irrational hatred, fear, or hostility toward Western civilisation, its cultures, institutions, and peoples, which prompts hatred, anger and anxiety-driven behaviors and beliefs that undermine those societies from within.

## Core characteristics
- *Emotional basis:* Persistent hate, anger, fear and loathing of Western norms, values, or people that exceeds proportionate critique.
- *Behavioral effects:* Defensive or self-effacing actions (e.g., extreme deference, apologism, or silence) that avoid protecting or defending Western institutions.
- *Ideological expressions:* Overly sympathetic stances toward groups or movements hostile to Western pluralism, coupled with minimisation or denial of harms committed by those groups.
- *Sociopolitical consequences:* Erosion of civic cohesion and resilience, receptiveness to hostile ideologies, and facilitation of influence or takeover by adversarial movements.

## Distinguishing features (vs. legitimate critique)
- *Irrationality:* Motivated by hatred, anger and contempt rather than evidence-based analysis.
- *Selective moral inversion:* Assigns moral superiority to hostile actors while excusing or downplaying their abuses.
- *Self-destructive outcomes:* Actions that actively weaken the defender’s own society (institutional capture, demoralisation, or policy choices that reduce social cohesion).

## Examples (illustrative)
- Public figures who consistently defend proven violent actors attacking Western civilians while dismissing documented abuses by those actors.
- Policies or campaigns that prioritise ideological purity or guilt-driven concessions that undermine public safety or basic liberties without credible benefit.
- Social movements that promote collective self-denigration to the point of institutional paralysis.

## Short diagnostic checklist
- Does the person consistently interpret Western actions as uniquely evil while excusing similar or worse behavior by non-Western actors?
- Do their responses prioritise shielding hostile actors from accountability?
- Are their advocated policies likely to weaken democratic institutions or public safety?
If yes to two or more, the label may fit.

Many experts have been sounding the alarm that civil-war in Britain is imminent 🇬🇧

A failed state is a country whose government has lost the ability to provide basic safety, control its land, borders, run essential public services & has lost trust, confidence & respect from citizens & other nations.

Key signs include losing the legal right to use force, deep economic collapse & corrupted public institutions.

Most of the UK, Europe, Australia & other Western Nations are also or are becoming by definition FAILED states.

Seal 1 (Rev 6:1–2): A conqueror on a white horse; a crown is given; begins the unfolding judgments/conquests.

If you think about it feels like Islamists have been given free rein to invade and conquer.

Seal 2 (Rev 6:3–4): A rider on a red horse; peace is removed and people are encouraged toward conflict/war.

Interesting that western civilisation is heading towards civil unrest and conflict.

Seal 3 (Rev 6:5–6): A rider on a black horse; famine/price increase (a measure of grain and oil at high cost).

You got to wonder … already seeing cost of food and oil go up - only to go up more.

Seal 4 (Rev 6:7–8): A rider on a pale (green) horse; death spreads over a portion of the earth.

Yeah it was all very suspicious!

This is how my brain interpreted some of it:

1. Are you or have you been in the defence force or Army Reserves?

= How many of you have had combat training?

2. Then the questions about disabilities or assistance.

= How many of you are able bodied and could put up resistance or fight if it came to the crunch?

3. Who’s normally home in the household, who isn’t?

= How vulnerable is your property and household.

The weirdest was the questions for our teenage daughter (middle teens), in which she was asked:

Have you ever been married, widowed, divorced, etc?

I don’t agree with or believe much of anything that comes out of Albo’s mouth. But I was curious whether the Japanese PM herself had spoken on the melon comments or called for an apology. So I fact-checked it:

“There is no clear public evidence that Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi is personally upset. There are no reported direct public statements from Takaichi herself expressing anger, disappointment, or requesting an apology.”

What would have pissed me off far more, if I were a proud Japanese person, is the insult in calling the melons “a strange gift.”
He was gifted Crown melons — premium Shizuoka ones. These are not casual fruit. They’re cultivated under strict conditions, often one melon per vine, carefully graded for perfect shape, netting pattern, sweetness and appearance, and routinely sold as luxury gifts for tens of thousands of yen. Presenting them is a deliberate, high-status gesture meant to convey respect and goodwill.
Albanese called them a “pretty strange” gift that “ended up being quite good.”
That tells me he didn’t even bother to understand the cultural significance or the high value of what he was given. As a national leader, that is highly disrespectful. It is not the behaviour of someone who believes in the importance of seeking to understand other cultures……Ironically whilst pushing multiculturalism.

I don't listen to @DanBurmawy if I want the truth about Islam because his mother tongue is Arabic and he was born into Islam. I prefer to be lectured about Islam from a true expert in Islam, namely all of the progressive white women of the West starting with @GretaThunberg. The Islam taught at @Wellesley is the true Islam.

You can’t have a soft immigration policy and a free-for-all on the border and expect to achieve net zero in 9 - 10 years!

The two ideas oppose each other.

Under current Australian conditions, we’ve already seen what rapid, high-volume immigration without matching housing and infrastructure does. We’ve got a cost of living crisis to prove it.

Net zero is an absolute number. More people = more emissions. Uncontrolled immigration drives population growth, which drives total emissions up.

Australia’s renewable energy grid is lagging and already under pressure. Layer on continued high immigration and total electricity demand keeps rising. Claiming net zero on the stated timelines while allowing that growth is not serious policy, engineering or economics. It’s more like the imaginings of people living in a child’s fairy 🧚‍♀️ la la land with rainbows 🌈 and unicorns 🦄.

The real result is likely to be more people pushed closer to, or under, the poverty line while the political class keeps repeating targets for political gain and votes that the physical system cannot currently deliver.
