A homeless man's been left with burns after 4 teenagers put a lit firework in his pocket in #Liverpool on Bonfire Night telling him to have "a sparking time". The army veteran managed to pull the firework out fast. He was helped by @PapercupLPL who say the attack is "disgraceful"

Bonfire Night is one of the deadliest days of the year for endangered hedgehogs.

These charities are using thermal imaging cameras to rescue as many as they can - and urging people to check their bonfires before they light them.
