Penelope Lee

'Can't end a good party without somebody on the floor.'

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"𝕸𝖆𝖑𝖊 𝖔𝖗 𝖋𝖊𝖒𝖆𝖑𝖊. 𝕴 𝖉𝖔𝖓'𝖙 𝖈𝖆𝖗𝖊! 𝕭𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖎𝖙 𝖔𝖓!"

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

🥊Penelope (Penny) Lee

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

That's fine by me!

Don't wanna try replacing anybody or anything.

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

Ah well ...

[ she rubs the back of her neck then nods. ]

You're not wrong. How about I just call ya Penelope instead. Deal?

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

She'll leave him like that more often if he likes!

[💥𝕂𝕒𝕝𝕖 𝕋𝕒𝕥𝕫𝕖𝕝💥 @ThermxShock]

The way @PennyPunching leaves him sometimes (it's his lipstick it just smeared onto her lips too—)

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

You sure? It sounds like... Like you've got something associated with the name.

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

No it's...mm— it's fine don't worry!

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"Is there any other worthwhile bet?"

She grinned, lining up next to her friend and teammate.

"Ready?"

[𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆 @LongLostUma]

⠀
⠀⠀“...bet for food again?”

⠀⠀She stood behind a line... wide enough for the two to start from.
⠀

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

Oh. That can probably be a little confusing.

Well... You can call me something else if you want!

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

No, no!

[ frantic waving of hands ]

Just the name of a really good friend that's all.

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

... Is there something wrong with my name?

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

Pen— ah r-right! I'll keep that in mind!

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

Nice to meet you, Yang! I'm Penelope, but you can just call me Penny.

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

Well in that case, I'm Yang!

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

Yup! I could always use more friends!

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

Another person that actually likes strawberry sunrises? Are we beat buds already?

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"Well, I've been doing cardio for quite a while since last we saw each other."

Her face morphed into a smirk.

"You challenging me?"

[𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆 @LongLostUma]

⠀
⠀⠀“Okay. ...Well, last I checked, I run faster... how much have you changed?”

⠀⠀...is she proposing...? ...A race?
⠀

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"I'll train with you! And then we can rest together!"

[𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆 @LongLostUma]

⠀
⠀⠀“...Have fun with that, Pen. I'm gonna practice a bit too, but with enough rest so my body can repair itself and build the muscles I'm tearing.”
⠀

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"I don't need sleep. I need action! I need to get stronger!"

[𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆 @LongLostUma]

⠀
⠀⠀“...Have you slept at ALL since October last year?”
⠀

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"I've lifted weights, too! And hit the heavy bag!"

[𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆 @LongLostUma]

⠀
⠀⠀“...Riiiiight.”

⠀⠀Her rabbit ears flicked with Doubt™️.
⠀

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

Asking the real questions. I would like one, too!

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

where can a girl get a strawberry sunrise around here?

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

"The whole time? .... Mayb-- No!"

[𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆 @LongLostUma]

⠀
⠀⠀“...Have you been... doing that one exercise this whole time?”
⠀

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

The work never stops.

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

What's she been up to?

Nothing much. Just training. Can't get stronger without it.

[𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼ℂℝ𝔸ℂ𝕂𝔼ℝ @PunchesandPuns]

[💥𝕂𝕒𝕝𝕖 𝕋𝕒𝕥𝕫𝕖𝕝💥 @ThermxShock]

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

She's been gone a long time. Time to make it up to @ThermxShock.

She'll start with a kiss to the cheek.

[Penelope Lee @PennyPunching]

What's she been up to?

Nothing much. Just training. Can't get stronger without it.
