Looking at the roster right now, we might be a playoff team in the Metro.
Unless other guys get moved out, I don’t see how we’re going to be worse than we were last year.
D / G’s are still weak but our forward group is better + the young kids should improve and will play more.
Sure seems like the Pens just got a righty, 25-year-old Wotherspoon who's already locked up for 4 years because Vegas needs to shave off cap space (to add god knows who). Another case of Dubas leveraging a specific situation to extract value
@DanHoppOPS Not sure why more people can’t see it this way. It’s a good trade for both teams and follows the exact plan Dubas has been telling us he would follow
A lot of people (who didn’t know who Parker Wotherspoon was before last year) are overreacting here. KD is going to keep dealing
@jmarshfof Thoughts on Lawrence? Feels like he may slip to the 11 - 15 range if there's a run on D. Wondering if Dubas would trade up to bet on his upside.
We know Dubas loves Bjork, but I just don't see him sliding enough for it to be possible.
I might be in the minority here but I still think Girard can be a solid contributor if he has a partner not named Kris Letang.
He can skate and has some puck skills. Him and Tanger together is like mixing oil and vinegar. Skills don't compliment each other at all.
@Pazuzu_14 Couldn't agree more.
I don't think people realize how low percentage the draft is. We'd be using all of our picks to try and find a player like Robo.
100% worth it to use what we have (outside of Kindel) to get a 27 year old 40 goal scorer and have him extended.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are next up in the NHL Prospect Pool Breakdown series.
After years of having one of the thinnest pipelines in the NHL, the Penguins have given it a huge boost over the last 12 months:
