If Real Madrid truly wanted David De Gea the deal would have gone through. You are love here mate #JesusLovesButDaveSaves

[Manchester United @ManUtd]

#mufc is pleased to announce French forward @AnthonyMartial has completed his transfer from Monaco. #WelcomeMartial

[Gary Neville @GNev2]

The price for Martial is big. However it's not the boys fault and I happen to think he's a very good player. Needs a chance. He's young

[JY @youngster_127]

We've got to back martial completely, gonna have to play regularly up top #mufc

[Sky Sports News @SkySportsNews]

BREAKING NEWS: Manchester United complete the signing of Anthony Martial on a four-year deal. #SkyDeadlineDay #SSNHQ

[Rafael Hernández @RafaelH117]

Marca bizarrely claims the De Gea documents sent by Manchester United were protected by password.

[Guillem Balagué @GuillemBalague]

La Liga says the documents did not arrive on time. Fifa will look at the case tomorrow. Both RM and United pushing for it to happen

[JY @youngster_127]

it's surely impossible for #deadlineday to top this, the drama of this de gea saga is second to none #mufc

[JY @youngster_127]

surely that is a shite excuse from #realmadrid, "they couldnt open the document" ffs #mufc

[Rio Ferdinand @rioferdy5]

I just hope @manutd come back and make a real fight for this league this season. Fingers crossed

[JY @youngster_127]

why didn't we try to sign martial before he signed his new contract if we really wanted him???? #mufc

Confirmed fee of £36m will mean huge pressure on Martial right from the off. People forget your age when the fee is that big. Ask Luke Shaw.
