Persistent cough

A persistent cough is defined as a cough that persists for a period of eight weeks or longer. The cough may also be referred to as "chronic," "lingering," or "nagging." We recommend popping to get a check if your cough persists for longer than three weeks.

Wheezing is a sign that you need to get a lung check, but what is wheezing?

Wheezing is breathing with a whistling or rattling sound in the chest, as a result of obstruction in the air passages. If you find yourself doing this often, it could be a symptom of poor lung health.

Someone may not notice the symptoms of poor lung health within themselves but those around them like friends or family may be able to spot something is off.

Things like breathlessness, a persistent cough for over three weeks and chest pains are signs they should go get checked.
