Remember when #comicbooks rarely overtly reflected the writer’s political or social agenda; didn't have tinfoil or holographic covers variant covers; didn’t use 3D models; and weren’t two years late?
Remember when comic books were just great?
Classic sci-fi superhero Nexus turns 45 this month and refuses to fade out. With fresh new releases, restored archives, and multiple new tales in motion, the cult comic icon is back in circulation and proving some rare classics still hit like first prints. https://t.co/Wu7eM4oOde

I can't for the life of me figure out how the jury found Chikei Rick Chow not guilty of murder. I've read multiple reports and even some of my favorite attorneys comment and... it's baffling. Here are the basic facts of the case.
• Convenience store owner Chikei Rick Chow shot and killed 14-year-old Cyrus Carmack-Belton after falsely accusing him of shoplifting.
• When confronted the child ran away and Chow, along with his son, chased him approximately 130 yards.
• Chow says Carmack-Belton pulled a gun and pointed it at his son. That's when the fatal shot was fired.
• The child was shot in the back.
• People who witnessed the incident didn't see the child pull a gun.
Did someone watch this trial? What am I missing? How can you claim self-defense when you're the one who created the situation? Yes the kid shouldn't of had a gun BUT... he also shouldn't have been falsely accused and chased.
Wild and stunning result.
@Rhonda134072200 I said this too many times already but i’ll say it again - the only testimony that Cyrus Carmack‑Belton pointed a gun at someone came from Andy Chow. The video evidence and the other witnesses who testified said otherwise. Even Andy’s dad, the shooter, could not say he saw a gun.
@Rhonda134072200 Yet despite all this, you volunteer that it is “not hard to understand at all” that someone can be exonerated for shooting an unarmed 14 year old in the back because, despite all evidence to the contrary, you say that that kid pointed a gun. Just another dead one of them, right?
@Rhonda134072200 Conflicting testimony is an understatement. Andy Chow’s testimony that the 14 year old pointed a gun conflicts with the testimony of Rick Chow and the eyewitnesses, the video, and Andy’s earlier statement to the police. The teen was shot in the back with no weapon on him.
WAIT A MINUTE. Rick Chow, who was just acquitted of murder, was in TWO PREVIOUS SHOOTINGS?!
In 2015 he confronted a woman in the parking lot whom he suspected of stealing two cases of beer and a package of boiled peanuts. A dispute and physical scuffle occurred. As the woman and a man in her vehicle tried to drive away, Chow pulled out a handgun and fired approximately six shots at the vehicle. No one was injured.
In 2018 Chow observed a man conceal a can of Easy-Off cleaner and leave without paying. Chow followed him outside and confronted him. According to reports, Chow was struck in the face during the encounter, and the item fell. Chow then fired two shots at Aguilera as he fled. Aguilera was shot, received hospital treatment, and was arrested. He later pleaded guilty to shoplifting and received a sentence of 30 days or a $300 fine. No charges were filed against Chow.
WHAT?!?
