Free Humanity Statement in Support of Derrick Broze

We stand with Derrick and his family, who were unjustly detained upon arriving in the UK after exercising their right to opt out of facial recognition technology.

It is deeply concerning that Derrick was not only singled out for refusing intrusive surveillance but also questioned about his affiliation with Freedom Cell Network and for wearing a shirt promoting his philosophy of Holistic Anarchism.

This is a clear infringement on personal liberties and an alarming reminder of how dissenting voices can be targeted simply for standing up for their principles.

Derrick has consistently advocated for freedom of choice, community-based solutions, and the sovereignty of individuals.

We view his treatment by Border Force as a disturbing example of the growing trend toward the suppression of free thought, expression, and voluntary participation in state-imposed systems of control.

The right to privacy, freedom of expression, and peaceful association are fundamental human rights, and no one should be punished or detained for upholding these values.

Free Humanity calls on the UK authorities to immediately release Derrick and his family without further delay.

We urge all those who value freedom to raise their voices in defense of our right to resist surveillance and centralised control. Derrick's strength in the face of this unjust treatment is a testament to his commitment to true freedom. We stand by him and his family now and always.
