Whilst this is often framed as an increasing number of children with SEND, the truth is local areas are better at identifying additional need. This is a good thing.
Focusing on early intervention and better joint commissioning is crucial to reforming SEND services for Councils. There is no silver bullet and the solution lies in a systemic programmes, which recognises the complex relationships and interdependencies across a local area. #SEND
