Stop 🛑. Reread what I wrote. It was to provide context that it’s odd people who have not ever been in any situation to comment on how they should or would have reacted in that situation or to comment on what’s appropriate in that situation. That’s how it’s pertinent.

As it stands… You haven’t given any compelling argument for the officer being in the wrong. There are a multitude of ways that could’ve turned out. Quite frankly… The way the officer handled it was just fine.

In the effort of keeping this respectful, I’m just gonna leave it there. It’s clear you really want to defend the behavior of this little kid and have some sort of emotional problem with police officers. Your expectations on how they should conduct themselves in the line of duty is unrealistic.
