@mgonasaystuf Modern Gongfu cha, and its main inspiration, the tea tradition of Chaoshan, is diametrically opposed to this philosophy of brewing: small teapots are crammed with tea leaves, the tea is brewed for mere seconds, and then served directly into three small, eggshell-thin teacups.
@mgonasaystuf As many Western black tea blends are meant to be drunk with milk, adding milk will also help cut the astringency; the blends are designed with that in mind, to some extent.
(By "Western method," I mean brewing tea in a large teapot with a moderately small amount of tea.)
@willowtarka Many people who proclaim to like this kind of music are posers with a staged appreciation for it, meant solely to display how "cultivated" they are; the music is merely an accessory to be worn for validation within their circles.
LARPers, in the pejorative sense of the word.
@smallestsolace It's much more convenient for humans to label, classify, categorize, and ultimately place themselves and others on different "shelves" than to accept that people are ultimately irreducible, and that no label can fully capture the complexity of a human being.
@SassixAnime Good morning.
Not really...
That field you see in the background is mostly used for baseball, softball, cricket, and occasionally flag football and football proper
@Oxxoenjoyer I would ask people to give what they're comfortable giving away without impacting their finances. The last thing I would want is for someone who's tight on money to give me the means they need to live decently.
Let me pose a hypothetical:
If I were to beg you people to give me money for no reason at all, despite not being particularly beautiful or talented, and knowing you'd get absolutely nothing in return but my gratitude, would you actually be willing to?
