🇦🇷 REPORT | Argentina’s National Disability Agency (ANDIS) has been at the center of an alleged kickback scheme in which pharmaceutical companies received lucrative government contracts in exchange for bribes, reportedly 3% of contract value, paid to officials close to President Javier Milei.

👉 A key defendant in the case has alleged the scheme extended to the president’s sister Karina and other figures in his inner circle, according to Página/12.

👉 The Kovalivker family, owners of pharmaceutical distributor Suizo Argentina and the central accused in that case, allegedly also paid $70,000 toward the rental of the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires for a Milei campaign event in October 2025, where the president performed rock covers on stage.

🔹The payment was described in audio recordings first published by Página/12, in which the family’s former spokesperson details how the money was handed to the event’s organizer.

🔹Under Argentine law, giving something of value to a public official to maintain business privileges constitutes the crime of “dádivas” or illegal gratuities.

🔹Prosecutors are now examining whether the Kovalivkers, while allegedly bribing officials to keep their state contracts, also bankrolled the president’s campaign event, potentially making Milei himself a recipient of corrupt benefits.

🔹 Página/12 also reported that the Kovalivker family was tipped off before police raids — leading them to throw $50,000 cash into a dumpster before retrieving it, and to dump phones in a river.
