@Gartner_inc is asking the right question, and this is what @Vaadin Collaboration Engine is all about:

This is just scratching the surface, though (1)
@faermanj @MattiTahvonen@vaadin@QuarkusIO I got that :0 error each time google platform library threw an error, like for missing client id or similar, but there was usually another message telling what the problem is. Can you click on the source code link in the error message and screenshot it?
@faermanj @MattiTahvonen@vaadin@QuarkusIO No problem. Took me a while as I had to learn how to use the Google platform library, and how to generate client ID keys from their service. Then there were all the pesky meetings in between. 😆
@MattiTahvonen @faermanj @vaadin@QuarkusIO I created an example for you on how to integrate Google sign-in JS library to a Vaadin application.

@jouni@java@vaadin I tried google for it but failed! "vaadin firedept" didn't bring results, but it was "FireDeptTheme"! Awesome that it is still around :D
Vaadin Start has now collaborative views! 🥳
- Collaborative Master-Detail for multiple people editing records together
- Chat with chat channels for discussion.
How to get your very own collaborative app:
1. Go to https://t.co/DoT5Qi8jYE
2. Click Download
3. Unzip
4. Run `mvn`
The Vaadin demo https://t.co/Yeo5CzxTcd got a visual refresh!
Now the colors, spacing, etc. are built fully with Lumo variables and I think it looks quite fresh and clean! There's also a chat in the application.
What if you could treat users to a better workday by giving them the ability to edit multiple fields at once?

@juhsep@marcenglund@figmadesign@vaadin I was planning on replacing the red box with a cursor when I get multiple people's highlights working at the same time. Different colors for different users. Support calls to "show the ropes" sounds like a plausible use case for sure!
I've been toying with the idea of enabling end-users collaboration in web apps by showing everyone's mouse cursor. Like @figmadesign does. It's a different beast when it's not an absolute pixel solution. I went with following elements. Would you have a use case for this? @vaadin
Did you know about the free tier in our Collaboration Engine? If you try it out, we’d love to hear about your experience and thoughts. You can reach our Product Owner on the #collaboration-engine channel of our Discord server.

@codehovel @vaadin Thanks for sharing. The paramaters social media adds to the url seems to break it. We’ll fix that. Try this link. https://t.co/U6n9m8lVUH
