As well as this, one strange phenomena has been observed with Clyde. In rare instances, a piece of a specters body may break off and take on a life of its own. These creatures, who Clyde refers to as "Clydelings," act as his own personal henchmen who he sends to do his bidding.

Clyde in particular is a specter who took great interest in Halloween, seeing it as an opportunity to spread fear by dressing up in costume and scaring anyone he came across. He is not evil, simply mischievous, warping his face into many shapes to frighten trick or treaters.

Clyde is no longer a veldigun, instead being an entity referred to as a "specter." Specters are amorphous beings made of living shadow that feed off of human fear. Their bodies move like a jagged liquid, taking whatever physical shape the specter desires to frighten others.
