12 Travel Training Tonight
DEFENSE TONIGHT
This Mustang defense will create confusion and play with relentless aggression. Our goal is simple: dictate the pace of the game. We will live in the offensive backfield and disrupt every play.
Remember: "Fatigue makes cowards of us all."
We will not sit back and read. We will attack.
•Our down linemen will explode off the ball.
•We will blow up plays at the point of attack.
•Our linebackers will play downhill and aggressively.
•We will swarm to the football.
We live by two phrases:
"Do Your Job" "Organized Chaos"
Tonight from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, we will meet at the Shed. If field space is available, we will take full advantage of it.
Our focus tonight will be teaching technique and training at the aggressive speed required to play Mustang football.
Please remember:
•Wear your Mustang apparel
•Bring plenty of water
•Wear cleats
•Most importantly, have fun learning the game of football
Earn your jersey every day. No excuses. Just results.

Summer Workouts Begin Tonight
Earn your jersey every single day.
Tonight we kick off our summer workouts, and it’s time to set the standard. We are fortunate to be part of the Mustang Brotherhood—a tradition built on commitment, toughness, and accountability.
No excuses. Just results.
One of the best examples of that mindset is Maxx Crosby. Known for his relentless motor and work ethic, he is constantly praised for outworking everyone around him. Crosby often says he loves football—the contact, the eye black, the uniform, and everything that comes with it. Every drill, every rep, every snap, he goes full tilt.
Effort isn’t an ability—it’s a choice.
Your coaches will teach technique and ability. Your job is to bring energy, attitude, and maximum effort every time you step on the field.
See you all tonight.
6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Meeting at the Equipment and Training Building.
Bring water and cleats. If you have Mustang apparel, please wear it. If not, black, yellow, or white clothing is preferred.
Let’s get to work.
🏈 Massapequa Mustangs 12U “Seniors” – Open Workouts Continue! 🏈
If you have an interest in football, enjoy being part of something bigger than yourself, and respect tradition, then the Massapequa Mustangs are the organization for you.
Our 12U Seniors will continue their Open Workouts beginning Tuesday, June 2nd. We will meet at the Mustang Shed every Tuesday and Thursday throughout June from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
Team drill sessions are a crucial part of building a championship-caliber team. At the Massapequa Mustangs, we believe success comes from commitment, teamwork, and putting the team first. We don’t focus on individual recognition—we focus on winning championships, knowing that individual accomplishments will follow through hard work and dedication.
Our coaching staff is excited to continue teaching this great game while embracing a philosophy that goes beyond the field:
“The thing about football is, it’s not just football.”
Football teaches discipline, accountability, leadership, teamwork, and lifelong lessons that extend far beyond the game itself.
We look forward to seeing both returning and new players on the field as we continue building something special together.

The Mustangs had another great year in 2025 - winning multiple Nassau County League Championships for the 4th year in a row. Once again the highlight of the 2025 season growth of our Girls Flag football program - which grew to over 250 participants from Grade 3 - 12 in its 2nd year. 2025 was also the inaugural year for our Competitive Cheer program - which will expect to grow further this year.
We had record registration numbers last year, with 1000 boys and girls registered for football, girls flag football and cheer. We expect to see that number increase this year. We have over 3000 accounts in our database that represent the Mustangs community.
PLEASE RETURN BY JULY 31st SO WE CAN HAVE ALL SPONSORSHIP BANNERS HANGING IN BURNS PARK FOR OPENING DAY IN SEPTEMBER.

The biggest mistake families make at Ivy+ football camps:
They think the coach is evaluating academics.
They aren't entirely.
The academic stuff is table stakes.
Here's what coaches are actually trying to figure out — and the one thing to bring that proves you're ready. 🧵
There’s a reason why the Chiefs are going for 4 straight LIC’s this year. It’s because these kids work like it’s their last day to do so! From rising Freshman to one of the best rising seniors around your always getting the best out of these animals! @coach_ship@GiovanniTarasi
