As part of Women’s History Month, on 8 March, on the Women’s Empowerment Forum, each participant named one topic under the “I challenge” slogan, related to discrimination and women’s labor rights.
In aim to enhance human rights protection mechanism, the Government of Georgia approved proceeding of the optional protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with disabilities to the parliament for its ratification.
A historic victory - into the case of Georgia v. Russia, the #ECHR found violations of a number of key articles of the European Convention. Including: Ethnic cleansing; Torture of Georgian prisoners of war and civilians and others. 🇬🇪✊
