Doug Ford’s Conservatives voted against my Private Members’ Bill to ban harmful online gambling advertising.
Bill 107 addressed a growing public health crisis in Ontario head on. It reflected a commitment to tackle the broader structure that makes it so easy to fall into problem gambling.
This bill resonated across the province as I talked to countless people who were inundated with these predatory ads or whose lives were deeply impacted by online gambling.
I will keep fighting! Join me at and thousands of Ontarians at https://t.co/ZpueKIvf1Y.

The path to this historic deal started with the Prime Minister in Malaysia last fall.
This order will support 800 Canadian suppliers and more than 30,000 jobs.
This is trade diversification in action.
More exports. More growth. More good-paying jobs.

Found my ticket for this great hockey game on New Year's Eve 1975. Game ended with a 3-3 tie. @CanadiensMTL, who had 9 future Hall of Famers in their lineup, outshot the Soviets 38-13. Tretiak was outstanding. 🏒🇨🇦
Is the CRA collecting taxes owed from income generated by crypto-assets? As a largely anonymous economy, is the revenue agency equipped to identify tax cheats? Have there been any criminal investigations or convictions?

The Canadian Armed Forces provides doctors to its personnel but, unlike the US, not their family members. So when transfers occur, the rest of the family loses their doctor and they join impossibly long waiting lists in their new locations.
Beneficial Ownership Registries are needed for Gov't & law enforcement to fight against tax evasion. Since the launch of the federal registry, why have most provinces & territories not created their own corporate registries and when can we expect a truly national registry for 🇨🇦?
