@MortyMark @kevparker73 The football club has been noticeably politicised over the last 20 yrs. To such an extent that it is no surprise that our fans now kick lumps out of each other online.
🔴Royal Marines have forced US troops to surrender just days into a training exercise after eliminating almost the entire unit.
The British commandos “dominated” US forces during a training exercise in California, using a new battle structure

@TheRug85 We can rearrange the coaching/sporting director/ deckchairs on this particular Titanic to our heart’s content. It will make not a jot of difference to our ability to compete in the big league while we have the current owners.
This superbly well run club, everybody tells me so, has somehow managed to engineer a situation where they can’t afford to sack the coach who has this record because they’ve recently rewarded him with a five year contract. #ncfc
@REalityCheque We’ll get round to that in good time Mark, first the football club must stop climate change and make sure everyone’s pronouns don’t offend anyone. Oh, and weed the herb garden at Colney.
We don’t have defenders who can defend or anyone who can score, but we have a herb garden and staff have been issued with a reusable coffee cup, so there’s that. #ncfc (Annual Report 2021, page 4)
Turns out our inability to compete at the highest level is the fans fault. I actually agree with him to a point. There’s far too many of them stating how much they detest the Premier League and would prefer for us to be a Championship club. Two of them own #ncfc *shrugs*
The penny is finally starting to drop. If you don’t want to be a worldwide laughing stock in the PL, the first thing you need is money. If you have that, then you can argue about coaches, tactics or formations to your heart’s content.
💸 This table shows the last 10 years net spend.
Norwich - £8.63m
Watford - £99.16m
Leeds - £146.86m
Aston Villa - £305.88m
Man City - £1.039b
Are #NCFC ever going to have long term Premier League success without new owners?

@Joesmyth1992 That last sentence is damning. It’s the moment the mask slipped, and I realised then that our club is in the grip of two people who view it as their personal social club, one day to be bequeathed on to a favourite nephew, rather than a professional sporting organisation.
