Senior Rural Development Specialist, The World Bank.
Mr. Samik is a Senior Rural Development Specialist at the World Bank with over two decades of experience in designing and implementing large-scale rural development programs across Asia and Africa. His work spans livelihoods, enterprise promotion, women’s empowerment, and rural finance. Currently, he focuses on designing innovative solutions and projects that foster ecosystems for localised job creation. Academically, he holds dual Master’s degrees in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), India, and Brandeis University, USA.
