Seeing your friend who has been unlucky with relationships finding someone who adores them and treats them right is one of the best feelings in the world.
Nathaniel Ndiana-abasi Bassey !
Mine is a story of GRACE.
Another year to declare God’s faithfulness and goodness. I am a man TRULY HELPED & FAVOURED BY GOD.
Saints, please help me thank this God.
“For I (Nathaniel Bassey) did not gain possession of the land by my own sword, Nor did my own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored Me.”
Psalms 44:3 NKJV
Parents in Nigeria: you see this 400g of Milo your kids drink every morning?
It has more sugar than SIX cans of Coke.
Yet, Nestlé sells healthier, low-sugar versions abroad.
I studied this & here’s what i found.

Last year I was having a chat with one of my mentors and told him my wife and I were considering putting a down payment on a house.
He went "oh Seye, you know buying a house is just a vanity project and it's popular only because of the cultural significance of owning your house. My advise is to put that money in high yield investments that can fetch you decent returns year on year"
Na so I bounce go house go convince my madam say my oga say make we still chill. (whether she agreed or not is outside of this gist)
Anyway, a few weeks ago I sat with my oga again and we were just catching up. Then the gist of houses came up again and he said "Oh my wife didn't like the idea of living in a rented house, so for my piece of mind I just bought one unit (in Banana) so that she can let me rest while we continue to live in the rented one"
Rich people advise dey hard to follow sometimes 🫠
Please, no insults. I just need advice.
I moved into this compound about six months ago, and among all my neighbors, there’s one particular family that stood out from the very beginning. The man and his wife welcomed me warmly, even helping me offload my belongings the day I arrived. At that time, the wife was heavily pregnant, and yet she still found a way to be helpful. They had three children already, lively and respectful.
Your parents could have shares and unclaimed dividends worth millions of naira that’s existing somewhere that they don’t remember. Just ran a search for a friend dad and found he has shares with over 3 million with Conoil since the 90s. Man doesn’t even remember anymore 😩
This picture was taken 11 years ago today, at the close of a typically rough day. My friends and I, a group of bike men, would head to a local food joint to grab a meal. As usual, after eating, they’d slip behind the joint to smoke whatever they could find, their chatter drifting into the evening air.
On that day, I lay on my bike, gazing at a sunset painted with warm hues of orange, pink, and soft purple, its glow feeling like a quiet promise. Lost in my usual daydreams, I pictured the life I’m living now: settled in America, in my own house with a loving wife and kids. The dream was so vivid I could see the house, its cozy decor, and the good things life could offer.
My friends’ voices pulled me back to reality, urging us to return to the hustle. Before I got up, I took this picture, sensing it was important—a reminder of that moment. I can’t fully explain it, but I felt that dream would come true. So, I lingered a moment, smiled as if I weren’t just a miner by day and a bike man by night in a small village in Ilorin, Kwara State, and snapped the photo.
Later, when I got home, I posted it on Facebook, because back then, it was the safest way to preserve a memory.
Sometimes, as an ordinary man, hope is all you’ve got. It’s like an anchor to keep you steady in hard times. Don’t forget to dream—they do come true. Dream big—it’s free.
Shalom.
Told my wife I almost got hit by a bus at Yaba. She teared up, held my hands & said:
‘You carry my heart with you, live gently, for me, for us.’
Bruh… I melted on the spot.
Me wey just wanted to gist, now I’m somebody’s whole assignment.
THANK YOU JESUS !
YOU HAVE HELPED ME !
43 YEARS OF YOUR MERCY !!!
Who am I ?

When I first started working with white colleagues abroad, I didn’t realize how big of a culture shift it would be. Back home in Nigeria, there are phrases and expressions that are so normal, you don’t even think twice. But in a new environment, one wrong word, one casual
