I see Bruno as one of those truly ‘specialist’ players.

Yes they have many deficiencies but their best traits are like 99.999% of players.

Raphinha is very similar.

He’s not going to take on your man etc, but his ability to attack spaces is genuinely one of a kind.

Very interesting profiles. They’re like Jokic in a sense that Jokic is mediocre to ok at a bunch of traits but his Basketball IQ and post play are 99.999%.

Signing a striker makes Barca much better, yes, and I think 9s like Alvarez and Kroupi would excel in this system. But I don’t it’s absolutely necessary and Rapha as a ‘9’ will adapt (as we saw today)

The way Rapha and Fermin dominated spaces today worries me less about the fact Barca doesn’t have a typical ‘9’.
