Nerves have kicked in, here at the @rcpsychGAP conference and all ready to talk about making menstruation and menopause matter in mental health (views are my own, not representing my employer or any other organizations) #pmdd#mentalhealth#lxp#menopause
Today we are publishing our first ever position statement on menopause and mental health. A lack of understanding means too many women are missing out on vital support when they need it most. #MenopauseAndMentalHealth

A reminder EUPD is NOT the new name for BPD.
It is the old name for BPD.
EUPD no longer exists in ICD-11, the latest revision of the diagnostic bible we use in the U.K. and half the world.
BPD is no longer a diagnoses either but is a TRAIT QUALIFIER that gets added to PD 1/2

Fabulous day at the @BPSOfficial Peer support in Eating Disorders conference today. Great to be in person & to hear all the work going on across the UK. Also wonderful hear about @jessthegriff work on peer support and resources that will soon be available on the FREED website.
The hardest work l've ever done wasn't paid.
It was staying alive when I was at my lowest.
It was caring for someone I loved.
It was surviving when survival felt impossible.
Work takes many forms.
