🚨 BREAKING: President Biden will meet with McCarthy on May 9 but says he will not negotiate on the debt limit. The meeting will need to be on the President’s terms.

There is a very historic reason President Biden is digging in his heels and refusing to budge:

Republicans don’t negotiate in good faith.

According to Salon’s Heather Digby Parton, President Biden has learned from mistakes made by the Obama Administration.

Then, “not ONE Republican came to the table to negotiate on the Affordable Care Act.”

It was a hard-earned lesson of the first Obama term: The modern Republican Party has zero integrity:

During negotiations, the far-right faction continually up the ante even when leadership has made a deal, notes Parton.

President Biden also knows Republicans are full of sh*t.

Under the Obama, Administration, including Biden, they learned that extremist GOP made a stink about the debt ceiling, but ultimately they capitulated and spared the country from financial crisis.

What Biden will do is take the debt ceiling off the table (That ain’t happening Jack).

He’ll instead listen to McCarthy and see if there is bipartisan ground on the budget instead.

We hear a lot about President Biden’s age. But there’s another word for that.

Experience.
