@Lauren_M_Barr more immersed in the comfort of zoom than ever. I am in no way trying to advocate for lazy students but I thought this POV could be helpful!
@Lauren_M_Barr There are a lot of factors that come into play, and that students get comfortable with (ie, commute times, anonymity over zoom etc)
Also, there is only one year of students left who have had previous ‘normal years’ of high school and university - these groups are probably (2/3)
Be very, very careful over the next few days with military information. The Russians want to persuade Ukraine to surrender and they will use disinformation, fake video, fake photos.
@Lauren_M_Barr Yes I love the comments on this thread! Your class was the first place I truly learned how to think critically! Constantly asking ‘why’ after every assumption or finding. This way of thinking is so helpful and it finally feels like I finally got it ‘right’ (whatever that may be)!
I’m a 4th year Western student and 3 time orientation leader. This entire O-Week was horrific. I helped lead a predominantly female team. There were multiple instances where myself or other sophs were screamed at, pushed, and touched inappropriately by men. 1/10

Last night's snowfall brought an end to an incredible few days in Parry Sound.
Earlier this week, following days of cold temperatures with no snow and very little wind, the Big Sound froze over and became the world's biggest skating rink.
