@MiaLeeNYC@m4npreet006@bluewmist A significant factor is that women who have kids are happy with their lives and don't need to go on X to circlejerk themselves into believing otherwise. The regret rate for women who couldn't conceive is extremely high - a low rate for those who say they chose it is just cope.
@cutelikeafox12@charloofers No kidding, I've just done the same at my workplace and the most downtrodden, enslaved and hopeless employees are convinced it's a bad thing somehow.
@Rolo14073750661@taipan168 I used to do this between UK and NZ over 20 years ago and it still works today. Cheaper flights, more interesting routes, a bit more of an adventure than a connecting flight. It still works because most people are too scared.
@cinamoorolll Just wanna add this to the mix. The brain uses 20% of our calories. Now I'm not saying stupidity and being fat are correlated but what do u reckon?
@TimJosling@prieurdp This is genuinely the only answer that makes sense. Have you noticed they all try to justify it by referencing some sort of virtue, like it's more technical or it's safer etc etc. It's none of those things but they still think they're better for it.
