@jmyers1018@IVMiles Howdy! yeah, would've included you, but didn't think you were clergy. Thanks for the response tho. I think Scot is technically a deacon.
@DOMA_Misconduct@SanctvsMarcvs@AngloSouthern Not trying to be sneaky, as seen from several WaPo articles, not all Carolina folks agree w/ Wood. Also, visit and or chat with those folks. Ask questions. If it's not a fit, that's fine. Those clergy want you at a church spiritualty feeding you, even if they disagree.
@AngloSouthern@SanctvsMarcvs Just from a glance, Denman Isgett is the only SC name I recognize, and he's up in Summerton. I know Chance is ecumenically minded, so he might have some suggestions if you feel Trinity is not a good fit.
@IVMiles From the Biblical Studies side, Scot McKnight is an excellent well known scholar, and Esau McCaulley's "Reading while black" is quickly become required reading in most hermeneutic courses. Also, I forgot Stephen Noll.
@IVMiles Not sure who you have in mind, but I feel like Bp. Grant LeMarquand, Rev. Hans Boersma, and Rev. Ross Hastings all have had significant impacts in theological circles. William Witt's "Icons for Christ" has had a lot of citations since publication.
@SanctvsMarcvs@AngloSouthern Chance, Zach, and Cam all lean more Eastern in their theology. Not sure if it will be as high church as you'd prefer though.
@SanctvsMarcvs@AngloSouthern Trinity Myrtle Beach, or Church of the Ascension are both great orthodox churches. (https://t.co/TPqvl52Fs4)
Not exactly sure what Anglosouth means by charismaticism since there's a lot which could fall under that term.
@danitreweek Oof, I'm terribly sorry, and remain grateful for your persistent efforts at charity while guide married folks on how to better build community with you.
