I don't usually weigh in on internet drama, but when someone with a massive platform attacks something that shaped my entire life, I can't stay silent.

A well-known commentator recently went on a tirade against Chabad. I won't give him the satisfaction of a mention, but I will give you the reality of what Chabad actually is.

Without Chabad and the Rebbe’s guidance, I wouldn't be the entrepreneur I am today. Period.

Let me show you the ROI of a community that some choose to villainize:

• My very first business? Started because of an idea from a friend I met at Chabad.
• The launch of Zing? I met a billionaire at Chabad who looked me in the eye and inspired me to finally pursue my dreams.
• Our first major client? Someone I met through the Chabad network.

Beyond the business metrics, I think about the Rabbis—men I am proud to call my friends—who show up for Jews (and non-Jews) all over the world without asking for a dime in return.

I’ve brought my non-Jewish friends to Chabad houses. They weren't met with judgment; they were welcomed with open arms and a seat at the table.

To attack an organization that builds people up is a low move. It’s a sign of someone who has no idea what they are talking about.

When you have a national platform, you have a responsibility to seek truth over clicks.

Chabad changed my life. It changed my career. And it continues to change the world for the better.

If you’ve ever had a community or a mentor change your trajectory, don't let the noise drown out their impact.
