In the first act, Rajaraman (Arjun) and Neelaveni (Abhirami) talk about Nila's (Preity) marriage and Neelaveni says even if one person of the three of us are not okay with the guy, lets not move forward. For which Arjun says it should never be about both of us... Nila should be the only person to take her life decision. Turning to the final act of the film, Rajaraman in a crucial moment asks Nila to take the final decision, a decision which is very crucial and all their lives depend heavily on it. Arjun explains about the possible outcomes of the decisions to Nila and it is Nila who takes the risky final decision. This is one of my favourite part in the entire film because this is exactly how parents should be and this is what good parenting is all about. In the middle of films like Drishyam and its sequels, there's #Blast and it does so many things right 💙
The 370 biryani guy is the average petty dude.
He thinks you owe him sex / physical intimacy because he bought you food.
The best thing - don't let men pay for anything. Many have a very weird way of calculating even a bar of chocolate they may have bought for your birthday. Don't accept birthday gifts either.
The headache is just not worth it with many of them.
Hold a job, remain financially independent. Even if your parents want to make sure you don't have a job so that you'll never have a choice to walk out from a violent home. Parents make sure so that you are never strong enough to make a decision to safeguard yourself.
Recent dowry cases only showcase how complicit parents of girls too are.
In most cases, girls are hated in this country. First by their own parents and families, then by the men they marry and their families.
Anyway, just want women around me to understand, you need to start aspiring towards financial independence with the exact same urgency society wants you to aspire towards marriage.
Last month: Management was pushing us to hit 100% AI adoption, so half the team was basically having casual chats with Claude just to boost AI usage metrics for performance reviews.
This month: Mandatory sessions on Copilot token optimization and reducing AI consumption.
My org moved from "use more AI" to "please stop using so much AI" in about two weeks. 😂
@nish_017 So basically this is setup by men for men so that they can look at other women's boobs without guilt or fear .. without seeing her face and worrying about who's who
¿Entonces la mayoría de los hombres quieren casarse con una mujer que trabaje, vuelva a casa, cocine, limpie, cuide a los niños, los atienda en la cama y también los ayude a pagar las cuentas?
@almostwrong@MahimaJalan2 I want you to give birth and have your body mind soul sacrificed and also in a women dominated regressive environment where your working wife doesn't bother to help you at all...and then come up with these solutions
@Diwakar_Knows@MahimaJalan2 Are you serious? Clearly you haven't given birth and dont understand what happens. A woman has literally given birth and her body mind soul needs to recover too..the baby needs the mother the most, and given the patriarchal regressive shit at home allowance just isnt enough
– She was living away from husband for 4 years
– Husband came to her home, forcefully opened the gate
– He was drunk, took hold of her son and hanged him upside down
– She tried to protect herself & her son and hit him with a stick
– Went to temple, asked forgiveness & informed police
Seems like a case of self-defence to me.
