This is an example of a before and after success story and in many ways.
This is around 15 years from purchase to this after photo. I was at this property hundreds of times with a permaculture master who was growing around 200 plants & had animals sometimes. Learned a lot.
Here are some tips
1. Shop local and sustainable whenever possible.
2. Opt for natural or recycled decorations.
3. Give homemade gifts instead if possible.
4. Use LED lights instead of traditional Christmas lights.

Imagine grabbing herbs on the way to the fridge to cook a meal.

@DJS_inTulsa Hi Jeanne, I added used soil to mix with it. It did take a full 3 months to look like that. The bag was left alone while I was away for 3 months. I don't have a series of bags in different stages. I'm hoping to start another one again soon! Let me know how it goes
The Degrowth Paradox: It's growing.
The last few years have seen immense...growth...in degrowth. It feels like degrowth is beginning to be significantly broached in culture, politics and economics, and certainly now more than ever.
Edible gardens should be the norm for institutions in general. Churches, schools, hospitals, libraries, prisons etc. should all grow food on their grounds instead of paying people to mow grass and spray weed killer.
