We all can do a little bit more than we’re doing—and today’s a great day to start.
This #GivingTuesday, I invite you to think about what YOU can do to give back. Is there a program you can support? Do you have anything you want to donate?

There are alternatives to building our homes out of kindling and toxic waste. Earthen walls don't burn, yet they are much harder to permit than conventional wood framed buildings. Find more info about our strategy on our website https://t.co/sb2XgxK5eY #firesafehousing#cob

Summer harvest! Lately our dinners have been filled w/ squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes & basil from the garden. Just-picked zucchini lightly sautéed w/ garlic & then tossed w/ chopped basil is a current favorite. #summerharvest#gardenveggies#growyourfood#knowyourfood
@Ecosutra Not in this design. Air travels through 30' of tubing buried 6' deep before entering the house. Ground temperature cools the air on its way through the tube and when it reaches the house it feels just like AC!
Quail Springs air conditioner - no electricity needed! This is the intake to a passive cooling tube on a cob house @PermacultureQS. The warmest air in the house rises thru a vent in the peak of the roof - as that air escapes, convection pulls air in to replace it! See more on FB!

A big project QS has been involved w/ & supporting last year is a new cob code developed by the Cob Research Institute (CRI). The code passed last year & CRI must raise $ to finish writing the commentary. They have a $5k matching grant & need $10k total!😀 https://t.co/KuNprFnJoA
