@Macurian1@jayblackisfunny because of the complexity of sexuality and how various genes define it, as well as the environment, but in terms of psychology, things like conversion therapy should work but it doesnt because its not a choice, its rooted within them
@Macurian1@jayblackisfunny I'm pretty sure that study was on whether there was a "gay gene" or not. It's shaped by a combination of genetics as well as environment; there's no choice to be made at all, and you simply just feel that way. Sexuality is far more complex than just being able to choose
@_two_goats@nocontextfooty Yeah, I just like that Messi's playstyle has stayed pretty similar for the years I've watched him, at least, its like preferring a Connor McDavid over an Auston Matthews in hockey terms
@_two_goats@nocontextfooty yeah i didnt watch the game, so I can't judge. Every mistake by Ronaldo and Messi is scrutinized on social media nowadays lol
@eyebee_art Messi is thought to be better by a majority that look at stats, for example, https://t.co/k0mIMevQ19 has a poll for who's better, and 70%+ say Messi
@Tardo_Gungas@jayblackisfunny Yes, they are. I'd be glad to cite studies that prove their brains are just wired that way, and do you seriously think no one just had a normal childhood and ended up being gay? I have 2 cousins who are gay, and zero trauma or grooming occurred so ur statement isn't fact
@Macurian1@jayblackisfunny mate, do you know how many studies there have been that prove that they are just genuinely wired to think that way and its not a choice
@Itz_Weastyy@ifkopo@_common_W_ I would say dribbling in tight spaces as well as progressively carrying the ball can cause much more damage considering the high foul risk and the intricate movements can often make you land bad on your feet
@Itz_Weastyy@ifkopo@_common_W_ He makes a fair amount of runs but honestly his progressive carries make it just as physically demanding, running with the ball at ur feet likely having to dribble a bit, also a FAR more injury prone role
@Itz_Weastyy@ifkopo@_common_W_ Yeah he walks for a bit but 70 touches a game is easily as physically demanding if not more, Ronaldo makes runs sure but Messi does too + progressively Carryโs the ball often
