@sewateruk if the level of leaks around your system is “normal” then why don’t we have these issues with supply every time there’s a heatwave? It’s not like it’s the first time the South East has ever seen hot weather.
🚨 BREAKING: 6 million people are facing hunger in the UK, including 2m children.
This is a 20% increase compared to pre-pandemic levels.
These new stats from DWP reveal a heart-breaking injustice; too many people are being trapped in severe hardship.
Here we go again 🤦🏼♀️
Parts of Tunbridge Wells and Pembury are once again dealing with no water or low pressure. How long will it be out this time @sewateruk ?
#TunbridgeWells#pembury
@Thesegoto11@ArrivaKent Towards town, it’s been going along powdermill lane, to St John’s Road. It’s the same route on the way back. Some drivers have stopped at the school, but there are no temporary bus stop signs. There are no stops being served between the junction of powdermill lane and the town.
Once again the 281 service is on a diversion. No announcements, no update to the app, no signs at affected bus stops. Excellent customer service as usual from @ArrivaKent 🤦🏼♀️
#tunbridgewells#arrivabusdiversion
@ArrivaKent The diversion is still in place today and there’s still no announcement or signs at bus stops. So what’s the excuse today? It looks like the road will be closed until next week, so surely that’s enough time to notify passengers?
@ArrivaKent From High Brooms, towards Rusthall. From this morning, there is a diversion in place at the High Brooms end of the route, affecting stops between Powdermill Lane and the town centre. But I shouldn’t have to tell you this. It should have been announced.
@ThreshedThought I’m confused by their maths. They say they’ll “save” £1million (which doesn’t make sense because they’d be making money that didn’t previously exist, not saving money from elsewhere), but £4 x 260 days x 1400 spaces is almost £1.5million. Where’s the extra 500k going?
@ThreshedThought Absolutely astounding! This whole plan honestly feels like they’ve run out of ideas and have let the tech support team try out the old “turn it off and back on again” tactic 🤦🏼♀️
I think @sewateruk have run out of ideas and are letting the IT team come up with plans now. This is the only conclusion I can reach with their “turn it off and back on again” tactic 🤦🏼♀️ #tunbridgewells
@sewateruk Updated live? I think that’s an optimistic claim. It took hours yesterday for your map to update when new areas of Tunbridge Wells lost water.
This is what #tunbridgewells looks like at the moment on the @sewateruk website. I’m pretty sure when you’re “fixing” problems, the red parts are meant to get smaller, not bigger 🤔
