Regarding the selfish behavior of Tom Dundon and his lack of respect for the sacrifices people who work in pro sports make. I know some people who work their ass off for that team are missing. Embarrassing behavior! Be a man and walk it back, or just be a bitch. Dundon
I suspect they’ll move one or more of Chris Krieder (1 yr, $6.5M), Alex Killorn (1 yr, 6.25M) and/or Frank Vetrano (2 yr, $4.57M) to create more room. Might have to attach a draft pick to any deal. Lesson: Take care of your business ASAP! This didn’t have to go this way.
Some clarification about Blades Brown and special temporary membership. And one of the wildest eligility changes that hasn't been talked about when they went to 100 cards instead of 125.
In years past if a player earned Special Temporary Membership (STM) for a season, they had to finish 125th or above to keep status for next season. If they did, they were "full" members of the PGA Tour, if they fell short of 125th in points they had no status on the PGA Tour (Ryan Gerard is the latest example of this in 2023)
When they went to 100 cards they changed the standard any STM must meet in order to keep status ofr the next season.
Now the STM (Blades in this example) must earn the equivilant of 70th in points to keep his card.
You read that right.
Blades Brown could earn enough points to finish 71st in points, beat 29 other players that kept full PGA Tour membership in a season long points race, and have ZERO Tour status for next season.
(In Blades case he is likely to have PGA Tour status from KFT, but if he didn't he would be out of luck if he finished 71st.)
It might be the craziest eligibility change I've ever heard.
Its very very very difficult to gain STM, its harder to keep it for the next season because the status isn't great so players in that catergory don't get into all of the non-signature events. And now....you have to beat 30 players who kept their card.
Boog Sciambi and Jim Deshaies were amazed by a dog at tonight's Cubs-Mets game, as seen and heard on the Marquee Sports Network broadcast.

"I'm gonna blame the coach Mitch Johnson. You can play at a frenetic pace in the first half... you can't play at a frenetic pace in the second half, because that plays into the Knicks' ability to try to come back!"
