@purrplecolored@IuckyHD @AKARTI__ I can’t agree about it being one of the least liked in the community from my experience and polling data. But current changes that are being discussed could create a more unique silhouette and better design cohesion
@AKARTI__ @purrplecolored@IuckyHD ‘Overhaul at the least’ might be a stretch with my current plans. Animations are planned to avoid the stretching rocks. Discussing other small tweaks too to pull the design together
Colors are also changeable. Im colorblind, tortress specifically went through a few colors
@purrplecolored@IuckyHD @AKARTI__ Hi original artist here. Luckys not 100% correct, we are discussing POTENTIAL tweaks currently in dev chats as we speak.
In my personal opinion, I don’t see how the games quality is lowered by tortress’s addition but I am considering criticism

@LoafElite The artist in the YouTube video I linked used gengar colors in his drawing. Hes still a super experienced artist and a well respected fakemon artist too
Obv not something that should be done in every design, but it’s prob a lot more common than youd think in fakemon art hahaha🤣
@LoafElite Since we dont use official art for all tanorians, if a design works as a model, it’s usable. So concept artists arent always pro-artists
This was his first time doing official tanorian art though. I think he is experienced enough but hes still at the starting stages of that, yk?
@LoafElite And for this design specifically, I recommended it to Taste so that he had proof of where he got the colors. When the origin of his color choices in the original art was being questioned, it made sense to use colors that he could directly say where he got them from
@LoafElite Oh no yeah I fully agree. It’s not something meant for long term. It’s really just used to learn
I still use it from time to time (bc I’m colorblind). But it’s something new artists do a lot to learn the type of saturation and value that is most common in this style
