I made this man a promise 12 months ago. We never got the chance to be partners because of his illness (Cancer can fuck off) that we'd get another spin of the dice another season to win it. I said I guarantee we're getting there this year and we fucking did it. Champion pairs
@sayithowitis82 Oh so can I but next week represents the best chance at beating them mind. Once they get a their spine sorted and into a rhythm playing under Rowley they'll be very difficult to play against. With Williams going and sneyd being late 30s this year is about developing Irwin&Hayes
@sayithowitis82 Next week before Rowley gets his system and combinations organised represents the best chance at it though. Longer the season goes better they'll be unfortunately
@sayithowitis82 I know. Im all for calling shite out but this is essentially another friendly. As long as we dont lose its fine. If we shit the bed against them bastards next week ill be furious
@Gaz_E I'd genuinely rather go Irwin and Hayes and let them work through their inexperience. For years we've had over priced chancers taking the easy money
@EthanHoijord3 Wouldn't keep any of them and if Crosby isn't willing to shift from 5 at the back Patrick won't be here long term neither as he'll want to play further forward instead of as a wing back
@DiscipleElland@Tungsten_Tales James Hurrell played against us today for Gloucestershire and it was a highlight to have him there tbh. It was great for one of our young lads to play a player of his experience. I dont see an issue with players playing county as long as theyre not missing tv comps for easy wins
Salford manager Karl Robinson on #TRFC: βTranmere is a difficult place to play. The fans are on top of you & make it really hard to go there as the away team.
βThe pitch is in decent condition.
βCrosby will have his team fully prepared & really revved up to compete.β.
