@iinfernos@Rhevolver Under English law at least, regardless of who has right of way every driver is under an obligation to avoid/not cause an accident. So the dashcam vehicle is absolutely the one in the wrong.

@TheatreSpoonie We don’t have the same restaurant culture in the UK. Restaurants are often specific rather than generic. But, frankly, if I want a salad I’ll make it for myself, I won’t go to a restaurant for one.
@evileboxyboo@absolutelyCard_ The way I see it, they implied parentheses where none existed. They decided that all of the equation that followed the minus was in brackets and needed to be performed before the other bits (and the minus therefore applied to everything afterwards).
Which isn't how it works.

Most Europeans have no idea how absolutely furious with Europe America is.
This is not just another disagreement.
Betrayal is not something you just let slide. And the mouthy responses from Europeans are pouring gas on that fire.

@9mmballpoint We used to do "eeny meeny miney mo" in the playground and I genuinely thought the relevant line was "catch a knicker". Never understood it but just went along with it. I suspect we were all in the same boat (hence how it was never pronounced like the n-word).
