In addition to dangerous wind chills extending from the Northwest through much of the central U.S., an advancing arctic airmass will continue to support heavy lake effect snows downwind of the Great Lakes through midweek and snow squalls over the Northeast today.
Shermans Dale Fire Department is open as a warming station for residents of Sherman's Dale affected by the power outage. PPL is working to restore power to approximately 900 customers. Estimated time of restoration is 11pm today.
