Baseball is a game of failure.
It’s the only sport where going 3-for-10 makes you great.
That’s why, more than any other game, it rewards commitment to the process.

"Until death, all defeat is psychological." - Marcus Aurelius
Refuse everything that would lead most people to give up.
Refuse it.
Rise from the dead 1000 times.
Commit to never stay down & never give up.
Everything you want is on the other side of struggle.
Been watching a lot of documentaries lately bc I’ve been approached about doing another one on my journey!
They’ve reminded me of all those lonely moments asking, “Why won’t someone just give me a shot?” & “What can I possibly do, that I haven’t, to catch someone’s’ eye?”
Amazing, how long it took, but also that 1 shot, 1 team was all it took to change everything & allow me to live this incredible life!

One of the biggest mistakes high school athletes make with personal branding is only posting highlights.
Coaches, recruiters, supporters and companies also notice:
- How you treat teammates
- How you respond to adversity
- Your work ethic
- What you stand for off the field
Josh Allen said, "I didn't have any stars. So I was a no star, no offer guy out of high school."
Your stars don’t define you - your work does.
It doesn't matter where you start, it matters what you do.
• Show up.
• Do the work.
• Choose resilience.

I was just asked by someone joining my old Arena Team, what kept me going?
My answer is always: my belief in who I was, NOT what others told me I was!
One of the most important things in life is to know the difference between good & bad, and I mean really KNOW (you can’t just think you are perfect either)! That way you can judge yourself & don’t have to be subject to someone else’s judgement!
I can’t tell you how many times I had coaches tell me I was bad or I made a terrible decision or something was my fault, when I KNEW it was just false!
It sucked hearing those things and watching ppl form opinions bc of them, but it never once shaped my opinion of myself!
There are a lot of ppl in positions of power that simply want to find a reason to blame or to force you to do it their way… if you don’t know what’s right from wrong, you’ve got no chance to thrive!
I studied to KNOW the truth & then I walked in it every day - during the struggles & the successes - and bc of that knowledge I never lost my belief or my confidence!
