@instablog9ja Nigerian shouldn't waste money on buying weapons, Gumi knows the terrorist and can dialogue with them. Some of this men are so incredibly senseless that you wonder how they manage to survive to the age they are now.
@PremiumTimesng How would you know this news is not true, sheik Gumi and some northern Muslims didn't protest. If truly NAF killed terrorist as reported, expect protest the next day about their brothers being killed.
@kaazimiyya05@EkeVanVictor This is not true, humanity comes first in the south before religion, you won't know this because you spent almost all your life in the north.
Let me tell you a wild but true story about this group doing this protest today- they are called the Shiites also called the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN).
In the year 2015, on December 12;
This was during the regime of Buhari,
The Shiites were having a procession when they ran into the motorcade of then chief of army staff Buratai.
The procession blocked the convoy of the Nigerian army general , Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, in Zaria. This infuriated the Nigerian Army who then committed the next two days to carry out the worst barbaric animalistic massacres in the history of Nigeria against the IMN group.
The Nigerian army at night, attacked communities where the IMN faithfuls live, and killed about 1,000 people according to many civil society groups like Human Rights Watch and the IMN sect itself.
At first the Nigerian army in its usual manner of lying, first denied anybody was killed and that they acted according to the rules of engagement- that IMN tried to murder the chief of army staff. The IMN denied these allegations, calling the military's actions an overreaction and a "massacre".
Many of the IMN members were killed, injured and displaced, the vast majority of them were buried in shallow mass graves. Before carrying out a similar operation in EndSARS 2020, this Zaria massacre of 2015 is one of the massacre grounds where the Nigerian army perfected the satanic art of murdering hundreds of people, stealing away their bodies, burying it in shallow graves then denying the barbaric atrocities.
Anyway, after the mass slaughter of these IMN followers by the Nigerian Army, there was a lot of national and international outrage. The Kaduna state government set up a Commission of Inquiry to look into the incident and find the truth of what happened.
The commission of inquiry reported that the Nigerian army killed 347 people who were IMN members and one soldier also died, and that the Nigerian Army secretly buried the victims in a mass grave. This is the findings of a commission set up by the government.
The commission also found that the Nigerian military raided and destroyed the IMN's religious shrine and the house of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. El-Zakzaky, was shot and injured (eventually losing an eye and becoming also partly paralyzed in the process). He was also arrested along with his wife and detained without any official criminal charge for several years, under the demonic Buhari regime, despite court orders for Zakzakyโs release.ย
What did the govt do?
They shredded the recommendations of their own inquiry, then labelled the IMN a terrorist group and banned them.
You may wonder:
โWhy will Buhari and Buratai (both muslims) allow the Nigerian army to massacre hundreds and hundreds of IMN members who are equally fellow muslims?โ
I will explain it to you.
Buhari, Buratai and a lot of northern muslims are Sunni Muslims. The IMN sect are Shia muslims (Shiites). The Sunnis consider the Shiites to be heretics and their ideological differences is based on the Shia group being pro-Iran and anti-secular government, while the Sunnis are pro-SaudiArabia and they donโt generally reject secular government. The Sunnis are the majority of muslims in the north while the Shiites are minorities- this is why the Sunnis easily bully and oppress them. As a matter of fact, Boko Haram a Sunni extremist group has once said that Shiites should be killed.
Anyway where am I going with all this?
The same Shiite group who only 10years ago were a victim of state-sponsored genocide of 1,000 of its members is today โprotestingโ and doing a rally to invalidate the reality of Christian genocide in the north and resisting American help to elminate Islamist terrorists like Boko Haram in northern Nigeria.
It is insane how a group who once suffered genocide of its own members can today do a rally to show support to Islamist terrorists who want to kill christians and also kill them too,
It is insane- but this is our Nigeria today.
