My 1st attempt at capturing fireworks, July '24. Shout out to my photography teacher for encouraging me to be creative using manual. F11, ISO 200, 1'6, Bulb, image stabilization off, 18mm lens. TY Mia Riker-Norrie for hosting on your rooftop. Looking forward to honing my skills.
@sandiwebster Hi Sandi. Great tip. I'm also familiar with the activity of writing a letter to one's younger self as a way of reflecting and putting current times into perspective. That's another great exercise.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to John Washington, Rita Williams-Bogar and Michael Blackshear for their invaluable insights in our latest DEI CE course: Intentional Inclusion & Belonging. To view and register for upcoming CE courses, visit https://t.co/y6QuxlIPrY.

Today, the traveling shoes are on the pedals of my car. Had a great day attending and presenting at @BryantUniv Women's Summit. Met incredible women! Can't wait to share the magic. #empoweringwomen
It really is a small world! What are the chances Samuel Broomer & I would be at the same conference? (Ok; I love statistics, so I can calculate the answer. π) Sam and I are both on the @bryantalumni e-board. We're both in Chicago for the NAMIC conference.
Traveling again. π I'll be presenting two sessions at the NAMIC Personal Lines and Commercial Lines conference in Chicago.
Session 1 - @9:40 - Managing a Remote/ Hybrid Workforce
Session 2 - @1 PM - Moderating a panel on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.
Traveling shoes - taking Amtrak to Rhode Island and back. I had the privilege to be the featured Womenβs HerStory Month speaker at @BryantUniv today. Will share pics when I receive the official ones. BTW - I LOVE taking the train. Such a wonderful way to travel. #WomensHerstory
This morning, I got my "run for Ahmaud" run done on the hotel treadmill. It's still dark in northern California at 6 AM! Someone told me it would light by 6. Not! I didn't see daylight until well past 7. By then, I was finished.
