This is just an observation, but I’m pretty sure that the increase in entitlement we’ve seen from simmers is down to how they were introduced to TS4.

I find simmers who’ve been playing the franchise for 20+ years (or at least since TS4 came out in 2015) are least likely to be the ones leaving comments like this.

Some simmers who began playing TS4 WITH MODS, who have never experienced the game without them, I’m finding can be less understanding/appreciative and of the efforts and work of long time modders and creators whose work it was to help make the game more enjoyable, accessible and representative for the community.

So, already, because of that expectation for a mod to be ready for them to play with when they FIRST started playing the game, I feel like some of them are quite literally losing the plot because they can’t imagine the game without.

That being said, there is absolutely no justification for ANYONE to be pressuring a creator to update their mod. One that is released and consistently updated for FREE mind you. It’s actually so concerning to see the lengths people have gone to, doxxing and rumours about death included, because they want the mod updated? So what, Turbo should have planned his vacation around the release of the EP? Are you people mad?

THIS IS DERANGED BEHAVIOUR. STOP IT. HAVE SHAME.

I wouldn’t blame him if he scrapped WW completely after this.
