@tacoguard -and holding it out to Sans.

* I did put her in charge of selecting new recruits.

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -come all the way here for that?

* Did you ask Alphys to join?

She asked offhandedly, putting a piece of warm pie on a plate-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -wanted to be a member of the royal guard. Her heart twinged slightly, feeling rather uncertain about this request. Why would he-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -pull out the pie she just happened to make. Nice timing, huh? She began too slice the pie while listening to Sans say what he-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -Papyrus would be nice.

* I would appreciate that very much, Sans.

She said with a smile, finally going into the kitchen to-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -hear his offer to visit more and she would thoroughly enjoy that. Having some company besides the occasional not always here-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -'Proper'. That was a stretch, of course, but the less Sans knew about that, the better it was for her.

Toriel was happy to-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -rather silly for forgetting him but would never let that show, since she wanted to show how a proper queen should act.-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard Of course! Papyrus! She had never asked for his name, but rather appointed him in her hooded figure a long night ago. She felt-

* Oh, didn't you come here for a request? May I ask what that is?

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -keep a careful watch on the pie she put in the oven. She wanted to make sure that this moment went well after all. It's been a-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -lonely here, since no one truly comes by to visit me.
* You're the first monster in a long while.

She smiled sweetly, still-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -had no choice, it was for the good of the others even if it did trouble her deeply.

* I've been...well.
* It's been rather-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -response, unsure of how to properly answer the question, after all, she wasn't necessarily innocent the past few years. But she-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -personality wise and, of course, looking more mature as well.

* Me? Well...

She hesitated a moment before attempting a-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -since he probably wouldn't know exactly how to handle it.

But my, has he grown, sure, like stated before, not height wise but-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -surprise to her. She was so overwhelmed to see him again and she was trying to remain cool, not wanting to worry Sans at all,-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -Nevertheless, she was happy to hear that he was doing well. She always expected him to the tall one so that wasn't a huge-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard Toriel smiled at the mention of Papyrus, almost forgetting that he existed for a moment, merely because, again, a foggy memory.-

[Queen Toriel @PersistentQueen]

@tacoguard -its a force of a habit to call monsters her children. Besides, she still saw him as her son anyways, so it was nothing big.
