@miss_aird Thanks, they really enjoyed it. We used oil mixed with food colouring as fake blood. Pierced a straw in the bottom of the cup. Timed how long it took for the oil to pass through the cup via the clear straw. Then clogged the straw with margarine and repeated to see the difference.
Our S1 pupils have been learning about what can happen to our bodies if we eat too much fat this week. We conducted an experiment comparing healthy arteries with clogged arteries then made a stir fry using quorn as a low fat alternative to red meat #hwb#skills#fooded
