@dineen20dineen The knack was knowing when the slow set was coming up and asking the girl to dance to a song just before the slow set. Then when the slow song comes on yer already on the dance floor with her, you shrug your shoulders and say “we might as well stay on”. Worked every time. 👍
@czechfooty I don’t want someone good beside Nombil, I want someone good INSTEAD of Nombil. His tackling is average, his passing is terrible and he loses possession quickly. I still can’t believe we turned down Olomouc’s offer of €500k for him. 🤯
@Watson_SLdn I’m Irish, I’ve been to Prague more than 50 times and have never been in an Irish bar as they are all rip-off merchants. I have my list of my favourite 15-20 Czech pubs where the beer is great and they don’t have separate prices for tourists.
@czechcookbook When I lived in England I loved to travel and usually the beer was better than at home but now living in Czech I know that wherever I travel to the beer will be inferior………and nearly always more expensive.
@czechfooty If it’s true that Wrexham failed with a £35m offer for him during the summer then Wrexham should be very relieved. I like Šulc but he’s only worth £18m-£20m.
@Steve09812 My favourite Al line is when Jefferson asks him advice because Marcy is 6 months pregnant but still wants sex. Al replies “Jefferson having sex with your pregnant wife would be like putting gas into a car that you’ve already crashed.”
@infotbal As an Irish guy who lives near Olomouc and has visited Dundee many times; I have to say that choosing to live in Dundee over Olomouc is crazy, I can only guess that he never visited Olomouc. Dundee is depressing.
@QuantumDvir@karenievers 14 European countries claimed neutrality in WW2! Many of them actively helped/supported the Nazi’s such as Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Spain etc & others such as Sweden supplied the Nazis with raw materials. Ireland were neutral but 10’s of thousands joined the allied forces.
@PintsBeauty Guinness was my only drink in Ireland. When I moved to Manchester the difference was noticeable but I persisted with the Guinness for my first year. But after one year I gave up and switched to IPAs. Guinness will always be my No1 beer but I rarely drink it outside of Ireland.
