@jpalmiotti I'm in CA, what we've noticed the most is the "shrinkflation" where they keep the price similar to what they've been asking the last few years, but offer less product...this has happened with all items from juice, to veggie dogs, and other snacks as well.

@jpalmiotti Usually the movies for me. Would wait outside the theater until they either show up or the movie was about to start. That way win-win either way. I've never minded watching a movie on my own. I was the only one I knew with a beeper when those came along. So that didn't help.

Pedro Zamora died 30 years ago today. I’ve been thinking about this post for awhile, and I had hoped/assumed it would be a little more “celebratory.”

Despite losing him, I was assuming that we were entering a time of greater hope.

@jpalmiotti When I would walk around there in the mid to late 90s (college) most of those places were all boarded up and shut down, In preparation for the soon to be clean up. There were maybe two three or so left?

Going through some old stacks of art...found something I drew from the days when comics cost 1.50-1.95. A time when glossy paper stock was the rage, gimmick covers were everywhere. A new player in the world of comics (@ImageComics ) was everywhere.

@thatpetewoods It’s odd to me. There was so much excitement and enthusiasm for the Dem side. I don’t necessarily buy that we forfeited? I was seeing things I’ve never seen before from people across the spectrum…unless that was the “red mirage”…making us think we had that advantage.
