BC is rich in natural resources, with critical minerals essential for the technologies of tomorrow. We have many mines ready to go, but the permitting process is holding us back and delaying progress.
It’s time to unlock our natural resource sector.
Claims that BC Conservatives voted for DRIPA are completely false. Our party hasn’t held a seat since 1978.
From day one of our campaign, our message was crystal clear: repeal DRIPA and restore certainty in BC.
We didn’t vote it in.
But we will absolutely vote to repeal it.
The B.C. Court of Appeal ruled that DRIPA is legally enforceable and that changes everything.
We are calling on Premier Eby to come back to the Legislature and deal with this NOW!. The future of our province depends on it.
It’s time repeal DRIPA for good.
There was a serious vehicle incident this morning at the Gibraltar Mine, and my thoughts and prayers are with every employee involved.
As the Shadow Minister of Mines, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the first responders and mine rescue teams for their quick response.
Tragic news out of Elkview. My heart is with the family, friends, and coworkers mourning this loss. Every worker deserves to come home safe. We need answers and accountability so this doesn’t happen again.
The NDP has taken B.C. on a crash-collision course, straight off the path to prosperity.
After eight years, British Columbians have felt the weight of unaffordable housing, the climbing cost of living, and basic services breaking down.
We are united to get B.C. back on track.
The cancellation of Sean Feucht worship concerts in B.C. is unacceptable. This isn’t just about one artist it’s about protecting the fundamental right of all Canadians to gather, sing, and express their faith.
If we allow this right to be eroded for some,it will be eroded for all
Thinking of the families of the three miners trapped underground at the Red Chris Mine today. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time. 🙏 #RedChrisMine#PrayForOurMiners#BCStrong
🚨 URGENT UPDATE 🚨
Three miners have been trapped underground following an overnight accident at the Red Chris copper and gold mine in B.C.’s northern Interior.
We understand that the workers are currently in a refuge area and, to the best of our knowledge, are uninjured.
Eby Announces a cabinet shift this Thursday. The changes will be “strategic” and “limited in size.” Eby says
Let me translate that for you: rearranging the deck chairs while the ship takes on water.
Stopped by the Strongman kickoff at Cranbrook Toyota and somehow ended up pulling a truck! 💪 It brought back memories.I actually competed in this event 15 years ago. Turns out, I’ve still got a little fuel in the tank!
Big thanks to Cranbrook Toyota for nominating me to sit in the dunk tank (in a suit, no less!) at the Strongman Kickoff Pancake Breakfast. It was a blast great laughs, great people, and all for a great cause.
Looking forward to the main event on June 21 see you all there!
“Mr. Eby is a snake oil salesman. He’ll tell us how great it is, what the benefits are but we know, in reality, that it will do us no good,” said Tom, who revealed he had voted for the NDP in the provincial election.
Tom discovers what we already know—Eby needs to go.
Had a great time presenting to the Kootenay-Rockies @Conservative_BC board on the importance of fundraising! Thanks MLA @ElectPeteDavis for the invite!
Friendly reminder that elections are won by fundraising, door-knocking and selling memberships, not by fighting on Twitter.
The Mining Association of BC says the industry could add more to the province's economy by cutting through red tape. As Catherine Urquhart reports, the government says it is working to help the industry add jobs and grow in this province.

The people of Kootenay Rockies deserve better.
Today in Question Period, I raised a deeply troubling issue that hits close to home:
This isn’t acceptable. Not for Cranbrook. Not for Fernie, Sparwood, Elkford—or any of the communities that make up the Kootenay Rockies.
🚨BREAKING🚨
Grand Chief Stewart Phillip of the @UBCIC doubled down on their opposition to this government’s attempted legislative overreach.
As I’ve been highlighting:
What is this government’s priority?
Fast Tracking projects, or sticking by their commitment to DRIPA?
Clearly, they can’t do both…

The NDP are on the verge of losing official party status federally — and it’s no surprise why. Canadians are waking up to the damage their policies have caused across this country. Here in B.C., it’s our turn next. We’re coming after the provincial NDP
What a blast at the Cranbrook Rod and Gun Club Show today! Packed with great booths, passionate outdoorsmen and women, and the kind of down-to-earth, salt-of-the-earth folks that make our region so special.
I had a productive meeting with the Board of Education for School District 5 today to discuss something long overdue: the need for a new Mount Baker Secondary School in Cranbrook.
